Material: Polyester Product Type: Dust Filter Bag (PET filter bag) Recognized as the most prevalent and cost-efficient filtration material in contemporary pulse jet style baghouses, our product promises exceptional performance.
Boasting versatility, these filter bags are suitable for a wide array of applications, from cement plants to electric furnaces, withstanding a normal maximum continuous operating temperature of up to 130ºC.
Advantages: Polyester filters are renowned for their outstanding resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and degradation due to dry heat, making them a reliable choice.
In dry heat settings, this filter excels and outperforms other synthetic materials, except for Nomex (Aramid), in its class.
Limitations: While effective in dry conditions, the polyester antistatic dust filter bag is not ideal for moist heat environments and may experience hydrolytic breakdown under certain conditions.
Chemical Resistance: Polyester is resilient against the majority of mineral and organic acids, although it is less resistant to high concentrations of nitric, sulfuric, and carbolic acids.
It offers robust resistance to weak alkalis and moderate resilience to strong alkalis when subjected to low temperatures.
However, it is not advisable for use in environments with high concentrations of strong alkalis at elevated temperatures. Additionally, polyester demonstrates good resistance to most oxidizing agents and exhibits excellent resistance to a broad range of organic solvents.
It is, however, not suitable for certain phenolic compounds.
