Our Aramid felt filters excel in general applications such as: highly abrasive dust settings, electric arc furnaces, high temperature dryers, cupolas, and chemical processes where high temperatures prevail. Aramid filter bags provide excellent resistance to alkalis under most conditions. However, they may experience degradation and partial decomposition when exposed to most mineral oxides.
Aramid offers superior resistance to common organic solvents. Note that some phenolic compounds can induce solubility.
