Polyester filters shine with exceptional resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and dry heat degradation, making them a durable choice in challenging environments.
Ideal for dry heat applications, this filter surpasses other synthetic options, except for Nomex (Aramid), in thermal performance.
Note: While excellent for antistatic applications, this Polyester Antistatic dust filter bag is less suited for moist heat conditions due to potential hydrolytic degradation.
Chemical Resistance: Polyester offers robust resistance to most mineral and organic acids, although caution is advised with high concentrations of nitric, sulfuric, and carbolic acids.
Alkali Resistance: It stands strong against weak alkalis and shows moderate resilience to strong alkalis at low temperatures.
Recommendation: Avoid using in high concentrations of strong alkalis at elevated temperatures. However, it demonstrates good resilience towards most oxidizing agents and shows remarkable resistance to a wide range of organic solvents.
Limitations: Not advisable for use with certain phenolic compounds.
